Conflict of interest

It is a shame that my regular Monday dinner date does not share my love for all things, gold and glittery. Paperchase makes the most gorgeous cake stands. A recent kitchen debacle had me yearning for a “lazy susan”. I love my Tangerine Kitchenaid. One would say that I am already blessed and yet, I find myself lusting over a Cusinart Ice Cream Maker, well really I would much prefer one from Musso. Alas, my pockets resemble a shallow well instead of a deep abyss that it SHOULD be.

The issues that came with ordering from the US and purchasing a step down transformer was not worthwhile in the end. Yes, it would be cheaper (50% cheaper actually) but it would mean that the warranty would be voided and I couldn’t be sure how the cycles would change with the wattage

Resigned to my fact, I had opted to purchase a similar but much cheaper mixer.

Thankfully, my shopping companion saw how pathetic I looked and picked up the tab for the Kitchenaid Artisan – a saint in my books! Out of empire red, I went with my next choice – tangerine!
